Alexandra (Alex) Jerdee is a senior at Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood, NJ. She is a National Merit Scholarship winner and a National AP Scholar. At her high school, Alex co-founded the Model UN team and has co-run it ever since. She is the President of the Finance Club at RHS, where she led the Fed Challenge team in writing a paper on U.S. Housing Inequality. As a captain of the Homework Helpers club, Alex volunteers to tutor local middle schoolers after school. She has been on the Debate team for four years and won the Parli NJSDL State Championship with her partner, receiving a Vincent Borelli Scholarship. Alex is also involved with the Applied Engineering Club and has run Cross Country for all four years of high school. She attends the Columbia Science Honors Program on the weekends. In her free time, she likes to garden and bake. Although her interests are diverse, she plans to pursue biomedical science as a career. Alex will be joining the Class of 2025 at Princeton in the fall.
