Hello! My name is Brianna (Bri) Dunn. I am a senior at High Point Regional High School in Sussex County. I have painted for most of my life and have recently been learning the crafts of sculpture and photography. Some of my artistic achievements include participation in the Smithsonian-affiliated Morris Museum’s Fresh Perspectives Exhibit, selection for the Savannah College of Art and Design Rising Star Summer Program, Artist of Promise Scholarship for Hartford Art School, NJ Potter’s Guild Scholarship for Peter’s Valley School of Craft, and NJ Huber-Weyer Scholarship for Youth through Peter’s Valley School of Craft. I was also named Fine Art Student of the Marking Period in my school in 11th grade. I am the Senior Illustrator for High Point Regional’s literary arts magazine and an officer in the National Art Honor Society. I was also a member of my school’s musical ensemble for three years and I am currently an “Antler” of Elks Lodge 2288. After high school, I plan to double major in fine arts and anthropology in order to work in the field of archaeology as a career. My interests include hiking, watching old films, traveling, and spending time with my dogs.
Hello, I would like to thank you for selecting me for the 2022 AENJ High School Scholarship Award. I feel confident that this gift will enable me to further my education as an artist. I could not be more grateful to represent the state of New Jersey and its thriving arts culture. I am truly appreciative of your consideration and generosity. I feel thankful to receive this scholarship and I know it will help to push my artistic career forward.
