Cecilia Crowe is a visual artist from Mendham, New Jersey, and currently is a senior at Gill St. Bernards School. She is a multimedia artist mainly concentrating on painting and drawing, with newfound interests in both mono-printing and collage. Cecilia lives with her parents, brother, 48 pet chickens, and 2 dogs (Dixie, and Finn). She will be attending NYU Steinhardt in the fall to pursue a BFA in visual arts, with a double major in environmental science. Cecilia’s practice centers mainly around images from her family history, as well as the exploration of the urban mundane world. Her current subjects of focus include the iconic shapes and images that live in cities, and the impacts and recognizable factors of product design in everyday life. Besides art, Cecilia loves trivia competitions, singing, being a mom to her chickens, hiking, and traveling.
